Two hurricanes passing offshore earlier in the week threatened to disrupt the 44th Chesapeake Bay ILCA Masters Championship, but both storms turned north just in time to leave Fishing Bay Yacht Club with a picture-perfect fall weekend- clear skies, mild temperatures, and no sign of tropical weather. From October 3–5, Brant Beach Yacht Club hosted the Melges 15 U.S. Nationals, bringing together over 70 boats in one of the most competitive fleets of the season. FBYC was proudly represented by four boats and an outstanding group of sailors: Madeleine and Parker Garrett, Teddy Bower and Clarke Garrett, Cyrus Garrett and John Hubbard, and Ziggy Krzyzewski and Ela Wermus.

This year's Commodore's Ball is scheduled for Saturday, November 15th beginning with the members' annual meeting at 6pm followed by the awards presentation, delicious chef attended action and carving stations, dancing and dessert. It's a great way to celebrate our year and kick off the holiday season.

What a great event set up by Caroline Garrett and hosted by FBYC Membership Engagement

A "pop-up" style event for the Cruising group, dock slip holders, and Offshore Division to come together for drinks and appetizers on the middle pier.

Similar to the dock social at “Wee Dram Cruise”, but with beer, wine, and light food.

Offshore division is having its Fall Open that weekend so it’s a great opportunity to be down at the Club on a lovely fall weekend.
