STINGRAY POINT REGATTA

AUGUST 30 & 31, 2003

DESCRIPTION

This regatta will consist of up to five round-the-buoys races; three races sailed on Saturday, August 30, and two races sailed on Sunday, August 31, 2003. If only one race is completed on Saturday, two races will be attempted on Sunday.

Information regarding registration, classes, social activities, awards, etc., will be available from Lori Moyer and at www.fbyc.net/Events The deadline for registration is Wednesday, August 27, 2003 by 1800. Send Entry Form to:

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

Skippers will receive sailing instructions when they register. If sufficient yachts are registered, the classes may be subdivided, one-design classes added, or classes may be combined. Multiple courses may be used as warranted to enhance the quality of racing.

CBYRA SANCTION

Each race is sanctioned as a separate event for CBYRA High Point awards.

DIRECTIONS

From Northern Virginia: Go South on I-95, then East on US 17 at Fredericksburg toward Saluda. Go east on Rt. 33 for 18 miles to Deltaville, turn right at Little Sue/Exxon on Fishing Bay Road.

From Central Virginia: Take I-64 east to West Point/Rt. 33 exit. Follow signs of Rt. 33 through Saluda and on to Deltaville. Turn right at Little Sue/Exxon on Fishing Bay Road.

From Hampton Roads: Take I-64 west to US 17 to Gloucester, turn right on Rt. 3 to Hartfield, and take a right on Rt. 33. Turn right at Little Sue/Exxon.

From Little Sue/Exxon: Follow Fishing Bay Road to water front and bear sharply to the left. Follow Stove Point Road to Yacht Club. The Main Clubhouse is on the right, the Fannie House is on the left.
