FBYC AUGUST JUNIOR REGATTA

DESCRIPTION

This is a single day of racing with three to five or more races open to Juniors. There will be a separate Optimist course. Optimists will be divided into Red, Blue, White, and Green fleets, as defined by USODA. There will be a separate start for the Green fleet.

WHO

Any Junior Sailor with an Optimist, Byte, Laser, Laser Radial or one of the club's 420s. The registration fee of $5 covers the cookout.

PROGRAM

Registration 0900

Skippers Meeting 1000

First Warning Signal 1100

No lunches provided

Followed by 3-5 or more races

Followed by refreshments, cookout and awards.

CLASSES

Classes are Laser, Laser Radial, 420, Optimist, Bytes

SCORING

Optimists will be scored within their fleet and overall except for the Green fleet if it has a separate start.

CBYRA SANCTION

This regatta is sanctioned for CBYRA High Point Awards in the Junior division for certain classes as shown in the CBYRA One Design Schedule.

SPECIAL NOTE

Volunteers with powerboats are always welcome to be on the water
