SEPTEMBER 24 & 25, 2005

DESCRIPTION:
Flying Scot Fleet #103 and the Flying Scot Capitol District are pleased to host the 2005 Flying Scot Atlantic Coast Championship and Capitol District Championship.

Sailing will be done on the Piankatank River and Fishing Bay off of the Chesapeake Bay. This regatta is a two-day event with up to five races for Flying Scots.

ENTRIES:
This is a FSSA sanctioned regatta that is open to Active, Life, Junior, Club, and Family Members of the FSSA as defined in the Constitution/Bylaws. Dues may be paid at registration. Non-FSSA members will not be scored. 
SCORING & AWARDS:
Scoring will be done for overall results. Skipper and crew trophies for the top five boats. The top ranking Capitol District boat will be declared the Capitol District Champion and receive this trophy. 
30 BOATS OR MORE: 
We will have two divisions if we have 30 or more boats. Championship and Challenger Division selection by competitors. Skipper and crew trophies in each division for top five boats.
REGISTRATION & DINNER FEES:
Please help us plan this regatta better by using the advance on-line registration on the Fishing Bay Yacht Club web-site www.fbyc.net at http://www.fbyc.net/Registration/rememberEvent?event_id=354 Only advance registration will receive discounted regatta fees.
 
On-line registration fee until September 11th -
Registration fee - $30.00
Dinners - Saturday Night - adult 15.00 per dinner
Children - 12 and under 10.00 per dinner
On-line registration fee after September 11th -
Registration fee - $40.00
Dinners - Saturday Night - adult 18.00 per dinner
Children - 12 and under 12.00 per dinner
T-shirts will be available for sale at the registration table on Saturday.
 
For those who are unable to do on-line registrations, you may fill out a standard entry form, and mail it, along with your fee and order for dinners to the Event Chair prior to September 11.  Mail-in registrations received after September 11, or those made at the door will be subject to the higher prices.

Our fleet members will open their homes to out-of-town visitors. Camping is also available in the grassy area near the East Bath House on the Yacht Club's property on the Jackson Creek side.
 
Campers are requested to stay within the designated area and to obey all other rules which may be promulgated by the Club concerning camping. No water or  electricity is available for RV'S. The  Club facilities are available for use.
