DESCRIPTION

This is a two-day event with a full day high performance Junior Racing Clinic followed by a single day of racing with three to five or more races open to Juniors. There will be a separate Optimist courses. Optimists will be divided into Red, Blue, White Fleets and a Green Fleet, as defined by USODA. There will be a separate start for the Green fleet.

WHO

Any Junior Sailor with an Optimist, Laser, Laser Radial or 420. There will be a modest registration fee for each event.

CLASSES

Classes are Laser, Laser Radial, 420 and Optimist.

SCORING

Optimists will be scored within their fleet and overall except for the Green fleet.

CBYRA SANCTION

This regatta is sanctioned for CBYRA High Point Awards in the Junior division for certain classes as shown in the CBYRA One Design Schedule.

SPECIAL NOTE

Volunteers with powerboats are always welcome to be on the water. Juniors traveling north from the Team Race Event at NYCC may want to camp at FBYC on Tuesday night. Camping will also be available Wednesday night as well.
