On Line Registration now Closed

You can register for the NAC on-line (preferred) or by mail. Registration on-line allows data to be collected easily, and reduces chances for errors. In any event, you may find it easier to use on-line registration if you have a printed Registration Form in front of you. The form is also available in Scots-n-Water, or at www.fssa.com.

Registration by Mail

You can do everything by mail if you wish. You need to download and fill out a Registration Form - PDF and send it to our registrar along with your check as directed on the form. BUT, before you do so, be sure to scroll down and view the other information and images on this page to be sure you understand all the options on the paper registration form.

On Line Registration Process

Regular users of our registration system will notice that it differs for the NAC. As always at this event, perpetual trophies will be awarded for top finishers in various groups, which requires collection of data our system does not normally collect (e.g. First NAC, Junior, Women's, Charter Boat, etc.), as well as crew names and addresses. Finally, to plan, we also need your launch preference - hoist, ramp, daily or wet sailed. Most of this is old stuff to NAC veterans, just the method is different. Rather than revamp our system, we have used a popular survey tool to collect this data seamlessly.

As a result, the on-line registration process will involve a few steps we recommend you follow from start to finish. Step one will take you briefly to a different place, where we will ask the few "Perpetual Trophy Eligibility Questions", and then you will be redirected back to our normal on-line FBYC Entry Form. You cannot register on line without answering these questions.

The FBYC Entry Form is restricted to those who have a username and password - so you will be required to Sign Up (or familiar FBYC users will use their existing password) to see the Entry Form. Once you are on the Entry Page, at the bottom of the form, you will be able to select the appropriate fee(s) and items to purchase:

To assure availability and to help us with inventory and planning, we recommend that you purchase your meals and apparel with registration.

When you submit the entry, you will then be taken to the FBYC Payment Page, where we accept Visa and Master Charge. Finally, you will see a page confirming your entry, and you should receive an email confirming it - and you will added to those who are listed on the link in the next paragraph.

If you are a FBYC Board Member with Results Manager permissions, you will be able to see the detailed registration information on each person at

Apparel and Meal Purchases

Because this is a special year for Flying Scot, we have designed exciting custom items in addition to the usual polos. These include: (1) two separate vineyard vines neckties featuring the Flying Scot boat drawing and the 2007 NAC logo, (2) "Black Watch" Tartan belts by YRI with the Flying Scot logo in Leather Tab or D-Ring models for both men and women, and (3) four different colors of men's and women's polos by Coral Reef with the 2007 NAC logo. These items are pictured below and can be viewed more closely if you click on each picture.

Neckties

We have designed two custom neckties for the event. They are shown below.
Yellow Tie - with the FS NAC event logo Red Tie - with a FS Line drawing

Polo Shirt

The polo has the FS NAC event logo offered for both Men and Women and in four colors - Yellow, White, Light Blue, and Navy.

Hats

The hats have the FS NAC event logo offered and in three colors - Khaki, Yellow, and Light Blue.

Flying Scot Belts

Leather Tab belt and D-Ring Belts - for Ladies and Men. The sizes will be shown on the Entry Form in inches of Leather Tab belts (standard measurement to the holes), and for the D-Ring Belt - the sizes include the range of fit so the pull-back tab will not be too long or too short.
Men's Leather Tab Belt (Ladies Belt is the same but has a smaller textured tab)

D-Ring Belt - for men and women

So many people make the following mistake that we "highlight" it for you.

Please Note that DURING THE ENTRY FORM PROCESS you see a form like that shown below - where you will enter the number of items that you want to buy. For the Entry Fee - please enter a 1 in the box - as shown. Do not enter 165. It will cause a huge overcharge!!!

Obviously, for items like Meals, Neckties, Hats or Shirts, please enter whatever number you want - BUT NOT THE EXPECTED $$ COST.

Items      Price       Please enter number desired.
The next page will
calculate the $$ amount.
Flying Scot NAC Entry Fee $165.00

Already Registered, or Not racing, or simply wish to buy something?

If you are
  • not planning on racing a boat,
  • or want to register for dinners only
  • or if you are a crew member and want to buy apparel or dinners independently of your skipper [note - enter "Simply coming" as your class - please do not re-enter your skipper's boat and class]
  • or buy some of the apparel
  • or if you have already registered your boat, but simply wish to buy some meals or some of the apparel
Then please Click here for Purchases only. Indicate NA for Boat name and Simply Coming - No Boat - for your boat class - even if you have already registered your boat. A Boat name and other Boat data will create a duplicate boat entry which will confuse us!!.
