MATHEWS YACHT CLUB CRUISE

Our first cruise of the 2018 season will be to the Mathews Yacht Club, where we are invited to join them for their opening flag-raising ceremonies. This has always been a well-attended event, where everyone reconnects to start the season. The event will feature dinner and dancing after the opening ceremonies, and the men are requested to wear a coat and tie. Mathews Yacht Club is just a short sail from Fishing Bay, and Stutts Creek offers a good anchorage for a short dinghy trip ashore. Due to winter storm damage, dockage will not be available for visiting yachts at this time.  However, "land cruising" by car is an option if you don't wish to anchor out, or if your boat isn’t quite ready this early in the season.
