The Cruising Division organizes social activities and sailing cruises for those with cruising sailboats who want to go places and get together with friends. Each year cruise destinations change, but traditionally they are two or three day trips at the beginning and end of the season and longer trips in the summer, usually one to two week trips around the Chesapeake Bay and sometimes trips to New England, Maine, or North Carolina. Owners of boats of all lengths, with children or grandchildren and those with or without experience are encouraged to register for cruises. The ultimate goal is to get members sailing and share memories with friends. Photographs included here are from recent trips: the Dismal Swamp Canal and Urbanna.
