Presented in 1981 by Alain Vincey as a perpetual award to be awarded annually to the winner of a series of races in Lasers sailed by persons 35 years of age or older who are members of FBYC, CBYRA, or other recognized yacht club or association. In 2011 the trophy was remade by Jon Deutsch with the original plate and more space for winners.
