INDIAN CREEK CRUISE
JUNE 6 - 8, 2003
The best of all: Sailing, Golf, Tennis, Friends, Food and Drink. What else could one ask for except perhaps perfect weather?
Friday, June 6th, we will sail to Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club and either raft up in Pitmans Cove or go to the Clubs docks. We will have both golf and tennis times for Friday afternoon and again on Saturday. Friday evening we will have dinner at the Club. On Saturday there will be a picnic with beverages and grills provided.
On Friday, the current will be ebbing on the Bay at Windmill Point at .8 kts at 1100 hours. Ebbing will continue until 1430 hours. Flooding will begin then until 1830 hours at a max of .3 kts. On Saturday the Bay will be ebbing from 0730 until 1530 hours. Plan accordingly. The sail back to FBYC on Sunday will be aided by the ebbing current that will begin at 0830 and continue until 1600 hours at a max of .8 kts, making for a nice sail home.
Notify Sheila and Gordon Nelson of your intentions to participate as early as possible so we can get the Tee and Tennis times we want. In any event, no later than May 27th. grnsail@aol.com or (804) 740-7435
