DESCRIPTION

The Spring Series will consist of five race days. Each day will consist of up to five races. A separate course will be set for Optimists, on June 6 and 12 only. The May races and June races will be scored as sub-series. A cookout / dinner will follow the races on May 1^st, May 15^th, and June 12^th.

Followed by subsequent races

Followed by refreshments and daily awards

CLASSES

Classes are Byte, Flying Scot, Frontrunner, Laser, Laser Radial, 420, Mobjack, and Optimist (June 6 and 12 only). A class of any three like or unlike one-design boats is also invited to race. The Portsmouth Number (D-PN) handicapping system will be used to score classes of unlike boats.

AWARDS

Awards will be presented by the Race Chair for each day's racing shortly after the conclusion of racing. Awards will be given for each sub-series at the end of that sub-series. Overall series awards will be presented on July 4^th.

CBYRA SANCTION

Each day of the Spring Series is sanctioned as a separate event for CBYRA High Point awards in certain classes as shown in the CBYRA One Design Schedule.
