DESCRIPTION

Junior Week is our largest sailing program. All of our Juniors (ages 8 to 17), and most of their parents, get together for a week of sailing, racing, and socializing and family fun. There is also an opportunity for teenagers (with the right skills and demeanor) to work as Coaches in Training (Senior CIT) and build their sailing resume. We may also offer parent sailing classes on Flying Scots during junior on-the-water classes. There will be a racing clinic (Optis/420/Laser) led by our Head and Assistant Coaches Friday afternoon in preparation for the first FBYC Junior Regatta on Saturday.

SPECIAL NOTE

Volunteers with powerboats are always welcome to be on the water. Camping is available and housing/transport/meals available through our program with Christchurch School
