Rob Overton, one of the co-authors of the new Part 2, Section C, of the 2009-2012 Racing Rules will conduct a seminar on the new rules on Wednesday, March 18, 2008 at the Virginia Center for Architecture in Richmond. In addition to his work on the 2009-2012 RRS, Rob has been on the US Sailing Racing Rules Committee since 1993, and was involved in the major revision of the Rules in 1997. He served as Chairman of the Racing Rules Committee from 1997-2000, and is currently a member of the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) Team Race Call Book Working Party and an International Umpire with an active schedule of events. He has been an active sailor and racer since the 1950s, raced for Dartmouth College, and has sailed and raced all over the US, including racing Lasers and J-24s on the Southern Bay in the 1980s and 1990s.
Enrollment is limited to 70, so early registration is recommended.
