On Saturday, March 28 from 0939 to 1230, there will be a Protest Committee Training session held at The New Community School, 4211 Hermitage Road, Richmond, VA 23227.  
    
Purpose is to improve your protest procedures knowledge and prepare you to chair or serve on Protest Committees at Fishing Bay Yacht Club.  This will also make you better Racers

We will cover procedures for a typical regatta protest or request for redress.  The important points and how to avoid some common “issues”

John McCarthy will be our instructor he is a US Sailing Certified Regional Race Officer and Judge with homeport in Hampton, VA.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about Sailing from one of the most experienced sailors in the Southern Bay.
