May 15: CAPTAIN’S CHOICE

This is the first captain’s choice event of the year. The objective of a captain’s choice is to promote more sailing and less motoring to predetermined locations by “playing” the wind. Each captain’s choice cruise will be preceded by a potluck dinner on Friday night. The cruise chair will provide the main dish and participants will bring a side dish to share as well as BYOB. The theme for this potluck will be Italian. Hopefully, this format will provide more time for socializing and the ultimate objective of more sailing.
