Winter Program 2011 - Member Highlights!
January 29, 2011 from 4-7 p.m.
You always knew FBYC was an important part of your summer life, from the sailing to the socializing. Come out to hear some fellow members share their experiences with two very different aspects of sailing - make FBYC a part of your winter months as well.
From family cruising in a small boat to hard-core racing in Sonars and J-24s against some of the world's best sailors at New York Yacht Club's harbor court facility in Newport, Rhode Island, fellow members did some pretty neat stuff in 2010. Come spend an evening with us as we celebrate some of the diverse interests represented in our great club. You never know how you might be inspired!
Please join us for the Winter Program at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, Saturday, January 29, from 4-7 pm. The Waters family will begin by talking about their 8-month cruising sabbatical to the Bahamas (and south), and after an intermission with light refreshments, the sailors and fans who represented FBYC at the New York Yacht Club Invitational Cup Qualifying Series will speak. From cruisers to racers, from families to singles, from children to ancient mariners, there is something for everyone!
The Fishing Bay store will be open for purchase of cold weather apparel at the event.
