Crewing on a racing sailboat is not so easy that a caveman could do it, but it is nowhere near as hard to learn as you might think. Fishing Bay Yacht Club is offering a course for people interested in getting involved in a team sport that will challenge the most competitive and give a lifetime of enjoyment to anyone who loves outdoor sports and good fun. The course consists of three classroom sessions and two to three optional practice sessions in Deltaville on the water onboard racing sailboats. All participants will receive written materials that complement the classroom sessions and include FBYC's 2012 racing schedule. Classroom instruction will be provided by FBYC racing skippers and crew with experience in local, national, and international racing, supplemented by demonstrations and optional hands-on practice on FBYC racing boats.
