April 25-28: CAPTAIN’S CHOICE

This is the first captain’s choice event of the year. The objective of a captain’s choice is to promote more sailing and less motoring to predetermined locations by “playing” the wind. Often, the captain’s choice cruise will be preceded by a potluck dinner, usually on Thursday night. The cruise chair will provide the main dish, and participants will bring a side dish to share, as well as BYOB.  Because destinations are typically chosen by assessing wind forecasts a few days prior to setting sail, this format has proven to provide for optimal sailing conditions and thus more time for socializing upon arrival at the destination.  Register online at www.fbyc.net.  This cruise will be led Dan and Barbara Lindsey.  You may contact them at danlindsey3@gmail.com or call (952) 474-6865.
