Printed Sailing Instructions will be available at registration, Friday July 12, 2013, 1800 to 1930, at Stingray Point Marina, and entries received before June 15^th will have their boat name featured on the official Leukemia Cup Regatta t-shirt.

ELIGIBILITY      Starts will be offered for the following classes: PHRF Spinnaker, Non Spinnaker, J105, Leukemia (Cruising), and Classic yachts designed 1976 and earlier.  Cruising Class & Classic Class will receive a courtesy rating which may not be appealed.  If sufficient yachts are registered, classes may be subdivided, one design classes may be added or classes may be combined to enhance the quality of racing.  PHRF-NS will be sailed allowing only one (1) headsail to be set at a time downwind.  All PHRF boats must have a current valid PHRF rating certificate and must meet current category 4P, 5P,or 6P of the PHRF Equipment and Accommodation Standards.

RENDEVOUS       Multiple races will be attempted each day with warning signals at 1100 on Saturday, July 13 and at 1000 on Sunday, July 14.  Drop mark courses will be located in the Chesapeake Bay off Stingray Point.  The Low Point Scoring System will be used.  There will be no throw-outs.

RULES                     The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing, 2013-2016, except as modified by the regatta Sailing Instructions. US Sailing’s Prescriptions to RRS 60 and 63.2 will not apply.

SKIPPERS’             There will be a brief skippers meeting for the Cruising & Classic

MEETING              Class only at Stingray Point Marina at 1930, Friday, July 12^th.

OTHER                    Dinner tickets for Friday, July 12, are $15 each, and dinner tickets for Saturday are $20 each.

PRIZES                    Awards will be given for classes and subclasses following racing on Sunday, July 14, 2013. Daily awards presented to all classes on Saturday evening.

CBYRA                   The event is sanctioned for CBYRA High Point awards for PHRF

SANCTION           Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker and One-Design Classes.
