Allan Terhune works for North Sails One Design in the Chesapeake office in Annapolis and is a very passionate and accomplished sailor. He was nominated for Rolex Yachtsman of the Year in 2008 and 2013 and his many victories include, J22 World Champion, Lightning North American Champion 3 times, Flying Scot North American Champion 3 times, Thistle National Champion twice, Lightning European Champion, and a variety of Midwinter and Major victories. He also has won the US Sailing Championship of Champions and US Sailing Sears Cup.  He was also a member of the US Naval Academy coaching staff from 2006-2007.  Allan graduated from the US Merchant Marine Academy in 2001 and grew up sailing in Toms River, NJ.  He currently lives in Annapolis, with his wife Katie and two daughters Cameron (4) and Rory (2).
