J/70 AND FRONTRUNNER SUMMER REGATTA

NOTICE The event information below, used in conjunction with the General One Design Notice of Race, comprises the complete NOTICE OF RACE for the event.

RULES Boats in the J/70 Class will also be governed by the prevailing J/70 Class rules as of May 2, 2015.

DESCRIPTION This is a one day regatta for boats with asymmetrical spinnakers.  For the J/70 class this is one day of a 4-day series.

REGISTRATION Advance registration is encouraged at www.fbyc.net.

CLASSES J/70, Front Runner. Any class of any three like or unlike one-design boats is also invited to race. The Portsmouth Number (D-PN) handicapping system will be used to score classes of unlike boats.

LATE REGISTRATION & CHECK IN At 0900 on the downstairs porch of the main club house.

SKIPPERS' MEETING At the discretion of the Race Chair - a skipper's meeting may be held at 1000.

WARNING The warning signal for the first start will be at 1100 followed by subsequent races.

SOCIAL Snacks and refreshments will be served following racing.

AWARDS Awards will be presented by the Race Chair for each day's racing shortly after the conclusion of racing. Overall series awards will be presented after the final series day has concluded.
