St Mary's Governor's Cup

** Southern Leg **

Hosted by the St Mary's College of Maryland, the Governor's Cup is an overnight race that traditionally runs from the current capitol of Maryland, Annapolis, to the original capitol, St. Marys City.  In 2012, sailors from the Potomac River established a shorter version that starts in Dahlgren and finishes in St Marys.  We are pleased to announce that Fishing Bay Yacht Club will facilitate the start of the southern bay leg of the St Mary's Governor's Cup. 

The start will be at Piankatank River "3".  First warning is scheduled for 15:55 on Friday, August 5th. Starts are planned for PHRF Spinnaker A, B and C classes, PHRF Non-Spinnaker, and Cruising boats.
