JUNIOR WEEK
Monday, June 19, -Friday, June 23, 2017

Junior Week, June 19 through June 23, is for Juniors aged 6 to 18 and consists of five days of sailing instruction in the following classes: Beginning Opti, Advanced Beginner Opti, Intermediate Opti I, II, & III, Racing Opti, Advanced Racing Opti, Beginner 420, 420 Racing, Beginner Laser, Laser Radial Racing, and Group Sailing (for teens who wish to sail with crew).  Junior Week is a great way for Juniors to kick-off their sailing season, with lots of on and off-the-water instruction, hanging with their friends and spending time with their parents! Juniors completing Opti Kids who want to continue their training may participate in Beginning Opti.

• We offer Private Lessons during the summer.  To schedule lessons please contact the coordinator, Melainie Mason @  Non-members are welcome.
• Due to high demand for OptiKids and Beginning Opti during Junior Week, we are offering a second session for beginning Opti sailors: August Opti Week! The session will run August 1 - 4, 2016, and will be for sailors aged 6-10. • Finally, we have a Fun Sail scheduled for July 9. Intended for sailors who have completed Opti Kids and/or Beginner Opti, the Fun Sail will be an afternoon of fun and adventure in club owned Optis led by an experienced instructor and an ODT coach.  Activities will include watermelon races, backward races, blindfolded races, a scavenger hunt and harbor cruise, all followed by pizza at the pool!
