78^th ANNUAL ONE DESIGN REGATTA and
HOD 2017 National Championship
Event Notice
Saturday, August 12- Sunday, August 13, 2017

Notice The Notice of Race for each event can be found using the left navigation bar under "Event Documents".

DESCRIPTION The Annual One Design Regatta will consist of two days of racing.  There may be multiple courses for One Design boats with enough boats for a start.  A Portsmouth fleet will be offered for other boats.  Optimists will be divided into Red, White, Blue, and Green fleets.

REGISTRATION Advance registration is expected by all participants at www.fbyc.net

CLASSES Flying Scot, Front Runner, Laser, Laser Radial, Optimist, and any class of any 5 like or unlike One-Design boats is also invited to race. The Portsmouth Number (D-PN) handicapping system will be used to score classes of unlike boats.

LATE REGISTRATION & CHECK IN Friday night 1700-2000 and Saturday 0800-0925

SKIPPERS' MEETING All classes will meet at 0930 on the Fishing Bay side of the main clubhouse for general regatta announcements, after which fleets will meet separately with their course PRO for further instructions.

RACING The warning signal for the first start will be at 1130 followed by subsequent races.

FEE Fees are detailed in the NOR and on the registration page.  A late fee will apply to registrations and dinner reservations after August 5, 2017.

SOCIAL Dinner will be available Saturday evening.

AWARDS Awards will be presented Sunday afternoon as soon after racing as possible.
