WINTER SERIES Event Notice
Saturdays November 4 & 11 and December 2, 2017
CHANGE NOTICE PUBLISHED NOVEMBER 7, 2017:
Classes are amended to be Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker eliminating A, B, and C Spinnaker subclasses.
(a) All classes will start in the same sequence.
(b) Each boat will be assigned a starting time, based upon its PHRF valid Time on Distance rating or assigned courtesy rating. The starting time will vary based on the length of the course selected: that is, time allowances and corrected time are calculated in determining starting times separately for each course, such that the first boat in a class to finish will necessarily be the first to finish on corrected time. The starting time of the first boat(s) to start shall be five (5) minutes after the Warning signal (RRS/US 26). All other boats shall start at their scheduled starting time based on the course displayed.
(c) Failure of a boat to see or hear her recall notification and the timing and order of such hails or failure to hail will not be grounds for granting redress. This changes RRS 62
