FAMILY REGATTA Event Notice

NOTICE The event information below, used in conjunction with with the General One Design Notice of Race, comprises the complete NOTICE OF RACE for the event.

DESCRIPTION  This family-friendly event encourages and promotes families who sail together. The skipper/ crew combination must be family members. They can be of any age and relationship, such as, but not limited to, father-son, mother-daughter, wife-husband, grandparent-grandchild, siblings, cousins, etc. Juniors are welcome and encouraged! The YAM committee (Young Adult Members) will once again head up the race committee!

REGISTRATION Advance registration is expected at www.fbyc.net.

CLASSES Flying Scot, Front Runner, as well as any One Design class of any three or more like or unlike one-design boats. The Portsmouth Number (D-PN) handicapping system will be used to score classes of unlike boats.

SKIPPERS' MEETING At 1000 on the downstairs porch of the main clubhouse

RACING The warning signal for the first start will be at 1100 followed by subsequent races.

SOCIAL Snacks and refreshments for adults and Juniors alike will be served following racing.

AWARDS Awards will be presented by the Race Chair for the day’s racing.
