SUMMER SEABREEZE #1 Event Notice

NOTICE The event information below, used in conjunction with the General One Design Notice of Race, comprises the complete NOTICE OF RACE for the event.

DESCRIPTION This is a single day of racing. If we can't be in the Caribbean, we might as well be on the Chesapeake! Join us for a Caribbean-inspired regatta. 

REGISTRATION Advance registration is expected at www.fbyc.net.

CLASSES Flying Scot, Front Runner, as well as any class of any three or more like or unlike One-Design boats. The Portsmouth Number (D-PN) handicapping system will be used to score classes of unlike boats.

LATE REGISTRATION & CHECK IN At 1100 on the downstairs porch of the main clubhouse.

SKIPPERS' MEETING At the discretion of the Race Chair. If held, a meeting will be at 1200.

RACING The warning signal for the first start will be at 1300 followed by subsequent races. Bring your Caribbean spirit. Channel your inner Parrothead. Get creative with boat decorations and colorful attire. Prizes for the most spirited sailor.

SOCIAL Island themed snacks and refreshments will be served following racing. 

AWARDS Awards will be presented by the Race Chair shortly after the conclusion of racing. Prizes given for the most enthusiastically Caribbean sailor! Yeah mon!
