The Choptank River is unique for its concentration of historical towns in close proximity to the water and each other. We will take advantage of this by using the Choptank as a compact cruising ground for a week of village hopping with day-sails in between. Participants should be prepared for at least 2 nights of well sheltered anchoring. Crank up your dinghies, kayaks, and other inflatables, haul out your best sails, and join us. Destinations will include Oxford and Easton on the Tred Avon, Cambridge on the Choptank, San Domingo Creek, and St. Michaels. The two day passages North and South will feature layovers in Solomons and Crisfield. Further details will depend on Maryland’s Covid restrictions in effect at the time of departure.
