40th CHESAPEAKE BAY LASER MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS Event Notice

NOTICE: Fishing Bay Yacht Club will host the 40th Chesapeake Bay Laser Masters Championship this October.  FBYC's Laser Fleet will welcome sailors from around the mid-Atlantic and beyond for great sailing, great food, and great friends.

DESCRIPTION: This event will be held for ILCA Dinghy sailors 35 years of age and older and will be sailed using the master handicap system. Renowned chef Alain Vincey will provide another great dinner did which is always a highlight of the weekend.

This year we're extending the scoring to include a Legends division. Instead of having Great Grand Masters covering 65+, GGM will be 65-74 and Legends will cover 75+. This is in line with other masters regattas and will better recognize that age group.

Alain is planning another great dinner and we've got a highly experienced RC group led by Rick Klain back for another year. We'll have a commemorative t-shirt and have a few other fun things planned that we'll announce closer to the event.
