Jerry Thompson,  certified with US Sailing as a National Judge, an Umpire in Training,  Regional Race Officer and active sailor,  will be presenting a racing rules seminar from 5 pm to 6pm.  As you will see below, this is not his "first rodeo".   He is a much sought after trainer and presenter.

MEET THE PRESENTER:

Jerry is a highly personable, US Sailing certified  National Judge, an Umpire in Training, Regional Race Officer, who is also on the US Sailing Race Officer committee.

The US Sailing Race Officer committee is responsible for the following:.

• develops, supports and certifies race officers within the U.S.
• maintains the training and testing programs for certification.
• assists sailing organizations in obtaining qualified race officers for events.
• provides support and advice on the roles and conduct of race officers at US Sailing events.
• investigates complaints against race officers.
• submits candidates for approval by the Board as nominees for World Sailing International Race Officers.

We suggest you check in around, 1600, socialize a bit downstairs,  and make your way up upstairs to learn from and interact with "the master".
