IN-PERSON Basic Race Management Seminar at Hampton Yacht Club.
The Instructors are Jerry Thompson and John McCarthy.

This In-Person seminar consists of one session on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
The seminar will be held at Hampton Yacht Club, 4707 Victoria Blvd, Hampton, VA.
Free parking is available on site.
The seminar will be located in the upstairs HYC Commodore's Dining Room.

There is approximately 90-120 minutes of course pre-work REQUIRED before the seminar begins. Attendance is required to complete and pass the course.

About ten days before your course begins, you will receive an email from US Sailing (notifications@instructure.com ) inviting you to log into in the course through Canvas, US Sailing’s online learning platform. Please click the "Get Started" link right away to complete your profile and access the required course materials. There are a few short quizzes and activities you are asked to complete in Canvas prior the first session.

The lead instructor will email you with course information, including directions for course pre-work.

Local Covid Guidelines will be followed.

US Sailing Course Registration fee is $40. Additional charge of $25 will be collected at the seminar to cover cost of lunch and additional refreshments for each participant.

Registration closes January 25, 2023. Walk-In registrations are not allowed.
