AT A GLANCE:

Event Type:  Fun Sail/Social (non-racing), coaching available, Skippers w/boats welcome

                       Weather permitting, we will sail to a destination in our Piankatank River cruising area

When:  July 01, 2023, 10 AM - 430 Ish PM

Who Can Participate:   Members & Non Members (Bring a Friend)

What to Bring: Must wear properly fitting PFD & closed toe shoes, bring hat, sunglasses, water, sunscreen . Bring a handheld VHF radio if you have one

Boats:    Training in Flying Scots, Other boats under 19 feet welcome to sail with us (Special welcome to Melges 15 junkies)

Training Options:

• Basic sailing skills for daysailing/exploring
• Check sail for Club Boat use (members)
• Next Level skills Up to Intermediate.
•    Limited coaching may be available from Safety Boat Operators at no charge to those who bring own boat 

Cost: $25/person for in boat instruction, other participants are no charge.

Social:  Food/beer/wine/water/soft drinks (target start 3 PM)  

              Bring your own sandwich/snack/water for lunch on the water or a beach

Training Notes (limited to 8 students/4 coached boats: ($25/Student)

-- We emphasize quality over quantity (2, maximum 3 students+ Coach)/boat

-- Basic on water lessons for beginners/intermediates & Check Sails for boat subscribers
