Offshore Spring Open
Saturday-Sunday, May 18-19, 2024

This event (2 days of racing) is open to all offshore sailors interested in racing their sailboat, developing their sailing skills and being part of a great sailing tradition on the Chesapeake Bay.

PHRF, Cruising and Non-Spin Classes Welcome

Saturday and Sunday May 18 & 19.

Come join your friends to race in the FBYC Offshore Spring Open. 

All Offshore classes welcome and encouraged.  PHRF (A, B, C, NON-SPIN, CC).  Races will include for PHRF A, B and C buoy/drop marks while Cruising Class and Non-Spin will sail mid-distance around drop/government marks.

Burgers and Dogs, Beverages etc. provided by Nanuq and Cheeky Monkey following the races on Saturday.  Comradery and Sailing stories abound!  We ask a minimal donation per person of $5.00 to assist in meal/beverages following the race---make sure to register your crew so we have a proper headcount.
