Event Type: A small boat rendezvous with in boat coaching available for the those new to sailing or just wishing to up their skill levels. This family-oriented event is open to all small boat sailors and sponsored by FBYC Adult Sailing. The event will feature small boat day sailing, destination cruising, critter ID and other fun on and off the water. Sail your boat or take out a FBYC Flying Scot. Custom in boat coaching available for beginning sailors.
Enjoy a relaxed day on the water and ashore at the most beautiful club on the Chesapeake. Learn about our Adult Sailing School, Club Boats, sailing clinics, fun sails and other club opportunities. Come out to sail & meet other sailors/mentors.
Who can participate: FBYC members and non-members and guests.
Boats type: Sail your own boat (under 19 ft.) - M15, Flying Scot, ILCA, Hobie or other small boat. Traditional small boats are welcome. Club boats are available through the Club boat program.
What to Bring: Must wear properly fitting PFD & closed toe shoes, bring hat, sunglasses, water, sunscreen. Bring a handheld VHF radio if you have one. Bring your own sandwich/snack/water for lunch on the water.
Training and Club Boat Options:
Registration/Fees: There is no registration fee but all participants are asked to register. Event registration, information and notices can be found at Regatta Network.
Social: After sailing, take in the great views of Fishing Bay from the Club house and join fellow sailors for food/beer/wine/water/soft drinks. There will be awards for on water game participants at the social.

Training Notes: On board FS coaching targeted at 8 students/4 coached boats: -- We emphasize quality over quantity (2 students+ Coach)/boat, content customized for student request/skill level, 3 students per boat possible on request. Check sails also available for new Club Boat Subscribers (required for independent use of Club Boats).
