The fall cruise is approximately a week with 2 night stops at Ft. Monroe and Norfolk Yacht and Country Club.  The week will include happy hours and group dinners.  Don't forget your walking shoes and your bathing suits.  Everyone must make their own slip reservations.  More info on details forthcoming with names, phone numbers for reservations etc.

Saturday, September 7th:  Anchor in Mobjack Bay.  Open to river suggestions and a volunteer boat for cocktails.

Sunday and Monday, September 8th & 9th:  Cruise to historic Ft. Monroe for 2 nights.  Slips are $1.00/ft first night with electric.  #2.00/ft second night.  Slips may be limited, but there is a huge anchorage area by the marina.  More info on dock reservations and anchorage forthcoming.

In the planning, group dinner at the Deadrise restaurant, cocktails at the Oozle Brewery and historic tours either self guided or group with guide.  Oozle Brewery open daily with food trucks and also a Farmers Market on Sunday 12-3.  Adorable Firehouse Coffee Shop offers sandwiches and ice cream.  Great historic touring, beautiful Bay views, breezes and fishing.

Tuesday and Wednesday, September 10th & 11th:  Cruise to the very lovely Norfolk Yacht and Country Club for 2 nights.  Slips are free the first night and $2.70' for 2nd night.  Electric included.  Each member will get a guest membership card for all amenities at NYCC, dining areas, bars, fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, etc.  Of course, cocktail hours and group dinners.  Great place to chill, or if you want to explore, there is a bus tour of the Navy base (2.3 miles walking).  A 5 mile Uber ride will get you to the Norfolk Waterside and Nauticus.  You can go all out, and Uber to VA Beach for a walk on the boardwalk, shopping.

Thursday, September 12th:  Cruise to Kiptopeke for a scenic anchorage.  Great fishing.  Dinghy to shore for a walk on the beach or explore Kiptopeke State Park.  Cocktail hour on a volunteer boat?  Dinner on your own.

Friday, September 13th:  Cruise home at your leisure.
