Closing Day Regatta and Oyster Roast: This event is open to FBYC club members, and all sailors interested in racing their sailboat, developing their sailing skills and being part of a great sailing tradition on the Chesapeake Bay.
Bring a dish to share and enjoy local oysters while mingling with fellow sailors and members. Enter your dish in one of three categories—appetizers/savories, chili/crockpot, or desserts—for a chance at fame and a fabulous prize! There will also be hot dogs, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages available.

Racers, you will need to register for both the race and the oyster roast.

Event Time:Oyster roast will begin between 2- 3 pm, shortly after the racing boats return, with oysters served while they last. The event will end around 7 pm.
Upon arrival, check in your dish at the registration desk and receive your wrist band which gives you access to oysters, food, and drinks
Racers can hand over their shared dishes to volunteers before the race.
Oysters: Local oysters—roasted, steamed, or served raw—will be available on tables outside the Clubhouse.
Shared Dish Competition: Over the years, the shared dish competition has become a highlight, offering a delightful array of foods and flavors. The friendly competition is fierce, with everyone vying for the best dish in each category: appetizers/savories, chili/crockpots, and desserts. Please bring a dish sufficient to serve 6-8 people.
