Calling all members who volunteer or use the Club kitchen for race socials, Wednesday night suppers, event socials, and more!

Ever wondered how far in advance you can reheat that barbecue? How soon you can fire up the grill and how long you can keep those burgers hot? How do you keep that potato salad fresh on a buffet? And how DOES that dishwasher work?

Join professional chef and club member Wade Thomas as he walks us through food safety in the FBYC Kitchen.

  • Safe reheating and food temperature maintenance
  • Sanitizing prep areas
  • Using the available equipment in the kitchen (oven, warmers, dishwasher)
  • Answering all of your social kitchen questions!
  • Maybe even see a preview of the recommended plan for redesigning the club kitchen with food safety and volunteer usability in mind!
