DESCRIPTION This is a single day of races for One Design and/or Portsmouth boats featuring multiple races of small course buoy racing on the Piankatank River near Fishing Bay.

CLASSES   Flying Scot, Melges 15, and any class of any three like one design boats, or 3 unlike boats racing in a Portsmouth fleet are also invited to race.  When fewer than three boats participate, they may start with a pre-designated One Design fleet but will not be scored.

Note: This is a special event this year. Our Summer Seabreeze races do not get scored as a series for our Flying Scots or Melges 15s, so in an effort to introduce new sailors to racing we will be working with Adult Sailing training for this event. We ask our seasoned skippers to welcome newbies as part of your crew, “show ‘em the ropes” and how fun racing can be.

REGISTRATION All participants must register prior to the start of the first race.  Event registration, information and notices can be found at the event website on Regatta Network.

PROGRAM

• 1100 - Welcome and Late Registration (via Regatta Network only)
• 1130 - Skippers Meeting may be held
• 1300 - First warning signal
• Awards, beverages and snacks to follow racing
