Unbelievably the weather mark was not moved while 6 races were finished. From the signal boat racing was close, and from one sailors perspective a little too close at the leeward mark rounding. While the protest committee was unemployed both days we saw our fair share of alternative penalties taken. After a general recall in the second race the "I" flag was used and …

Stingray Point Regatta - Sailors 2, Ernesto 1

Friday belonged to Ernesto, but Saturday and Sunday belonged to the sailors and volunteers who enjoyed two days of racing in 10-19 knots of breeze and partying under clear skies. Ernesto, was able to force a number of boats to stay home for one or both days and sidelined the PRO, but was unable to prevent Brooks Zerkel from stepping up as PRO, or prevent six competitors from sailing up from Hampton and Little Creek, four making it in time for the racing Saturday. Even the crews of boats sidelined by Ernesto came anyway and found boats to race on.

The Brent Halsey Jr. Memorial Trophy was captured by Brad Davis in Blade Runner based on his domination of the …

Many of you may have heard that Deltaville lost power around 9AM this morning and so far there is no indication as to when it will return. Mason Chapman and Dixon have been at FBYC and have secured boats in the slips and the yacht club facilities.

We are cancelling the Welcome Party and Registration Pickup tonight at the Yacht Club but we expect that we will be open to welcome you for Registration in the morning. Please …
