2015 Laser Summer Regatta Results

The mouth of the Piankatank River was the scene of the second regatta of the four event Laser series on Sunday 26 July. A strong turnout of 10 racers tackled the tactically challenging light to moderate breeze. Once again, Mark Stephens and his team did an excellent job of adapting to the wind variations throughout the afternoon and was able to complete five races in a little over three hours. Jon Deutsch had a very strong and consistent performance and won the regatta and is the series leader. Full results are posted on FBYC.net. Next up for the Lasers is the 76th edition of the Annual One Design Regatta 8-9 August. Register now and encourage others to do the same!
