We will be improving the small boat parking areas over the next few weeks by marking boundaries and numbering spaces.

We will also be shuffling the parked boats to move the fleets together.  An updated parking layout will be sent as soon as we finish moving boats.  But feel free to contact Brian if you have trouble finding your boat.

In the meantime, please ensure your boat has the sticker for 2018 and look out for flat tires or torn covers.

Our Young Adult Member group (those under 40 in body or in mind) will be hosting our 6th Annual Young Adult Member Cookout on Friday night at the club house to kick off the Memorial Day Weekend. Stop by Friday night after 6 for burger and brews and bring a side or dessert to share as well as your families and friends.  We'll provide burgers and enough beers to get things started.  Please RSVP via evite, facebook, or the club website.  See you Friday!

Year after year, a common bit of feedback from parents are "it is so amazing how many people volunteer for the week", "We love coming here because it is not paid, bored staff running the camp, but volunteers passionate about what they do", and similar themed gushing about our volunteers. 

Without you, the FBYC Junior Week would not be the powerful experience it is.  Countless volunteers man safety boats, coordinate the Junior Shed supplies, manage the safe entry of boats in and out of the water on the ramps, give out bandaids and scoop ice cream!  We encourage you to look at the signup genius and see if there are a few hours where you can give your time, whether …

Registration is open for the 20^th Anniversary Southern Chesapeake Leukemia Cup Regatta.  Hosted by Fishing Bay Yacht Club and Stingray Harbour Yacht Club, the event features racing for Cruising, PHRF, and Classic classes.  Held July 13-15 in Deltaville, the Leukemia Cup Regatta also features the Party for the Cure on July 14, with sailing awards, a crabcake dinner by J&W Seafood, music by Julius Pittman and the Revival, and silent and live auctions.  If you are unable to sail or attend the Party, you can still support the Regatta by fundraising with LLS.  Visit www.leukemiacup.org/va to register your boat, sign up to fundraise, or purchase tickets.
