25th Annual Chesapeake Bay Laser Masters Championship

On September 9-10 Fishing Bay YC would like to invite you to attend the 25th Annual Chesapeake Bay Laser Masters Championship. If you've never attended in the past, this event has become a must on many Laser Masters calendars. The event has had two three time winners, Rob Overton of Hampton YC and James Jacob of SSA and more recently FBYC. Invitations are being extended to all former champions. The 1989 winner, the doyen of Masters racing, Bob Saltmarsh, was the first to commit. Our 1998 Champion, Mike Waters, has been a regular in the club's Spring Series races, perhaps in an attempt to gain some local knowledge. Aside from the racing there will be a great dinner prepared by the club's Chef Alain so the sailors, their partners and others will one more time be treated to what has been described as "the best Yacht Club food in the Nation". We are looking forward to a record turnout, as well as having all our old friends, and hopefully some new ones at this traditional event. We surely hope you'll be able to attend.
