# 352 SOUTHERN BAY RACING NEWS YOU CAN USE
Monday July 9, 2007 07:50AM
onSCREWPILE 2007 - Racing begins Sunday,
July 22 goes thru Tuesday, July 24. This is the 15th
running of this Bay-wide favorite event. The entire town of Solomons, on
the Patuxant River at the edge of the Bay, supports the regatta and treats the
racers like favored guests. The parties are A+ and so is the
racing. There is something for all boats, spinnaker, non-spinnaker,
one-design, and PHRF. There is no better place to compete against boats
from all over the Chesapeake (and beyond). The deadline for early
bird entries (you get to avoid the $50 late fee) is noon, this Wednesday,
July 11. So... get your entry to LG Raley [July 11
postmark counts] at SCREWPILE LIGHTHOUSE CHALLENGE, PO BOX 66, HOLLYWOOD,
MD 20636. The entry form is available on the web at www.screwpile.net
or www.screwpile.com or
www.splc.us

yesterday! Conrad Hall's Shearwater is
representing the southern Bay.
Jan Brandt and crew Frank Gazioch
in ER Tape, aka Rafiki, finished 7th overall in the
