MURPHY'S LAW:  These multiple day regattas can wear down any crew dog.  Yrs Truly, the Racing Beagle, has a suggestion for a new position on race boats.  The time has come for a Sailing Sherpa!  Mainsail trimmer starts to lose concentration, give the mainsheet to the Sherpa;  catch the navigator dozing at the chart stand, call in the Sherpa;  lose your  bowman in the tangled spinnaker below decks, the Sherpa can find him.  Etc, etc.      /S/  Murphy the Racing Beagle, the sailing spirit in us all.
