Art On Fishing Bay: a Must See Show

The 8th annual Art On Fishing Bay show, to be held on June 9 at the Fishing Bay Yacht Club in Deltaville, will offer more variety at reasonable prices than ever before, says show organizer Bob Kates.
Whether youre interested in paintings, sculpture, photography, weavings, pottery, jewelry, or other crafts for your home or as gifts youll find something you cant go home without at this premier Chesapeake event.
Some 26 of Virginias finest art and crafts makers will fill two floors of the beautiful Fishing Bay Yacht Club. The exhibition starts at 5:30 in the afternoon and ends under the stars at 9:00 p.m. The public is cordially invited, and the only admission charge is to bring an hors doeuvre to share.
If youve attended this show in recent years, youll welcome the reappearance of many returning artists. But it wont be déjà vu all over again. Many new exhibitors will delight you with works that range from marine-themed watercolors and Tiffany-styled stained glass to moderate-priced jewelry and art with an attitude.
