A special treat for patrons this year will be the F.D. Crockett on exhibit at the end of the Fishing Bay pier. Recently re-dedicated by the Deltaville Maritime Museum, the log-bottom buyboat was originally built in 1924 and fully restored after 7,000 hours of hard work by talented volunteers from the Deltaville community. The Crockett serves as a floating ambassador for the Museum and the Deltaville community at large.Proceeds generated by the show will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Societys mission to support patients battling blood cancers.
