Changes to Piankatank River Aids to Navigation

Please be advised of the following Piankatank River marker changes made over the winter:
- Light #5 (aka "FBYC A" – Light changing to Quick Flashing
- Light #7 – Relocated
- Light #8 – Relocated
- Buoy #8A – Removed
- Light #10 – Relocated
- Daybeacon 10A – Removed
The USCG is also proposing to discontinue the use of Light #6 (aka "FBYC B"). If interested, you are encouraged to submit potential navigational safety impacts of this proposal BEFORE April 17 – please reference project 05-17-037(D). You may send comments to CGD5Waterways@uscg.mil or provide feedback using the USCG Fifth District Waterway online data sheet found here:
