Changing Website Around

A member has volunteered to assist me in improving the navigation and usefulness of the web site. In anticipation of making some changes to how it might look, I have moved some pages around, and hence you may run across links that do not work. At this moment, missing pages, the Classified, Weather, Links, might be found under Sailing or Web Tools.

If you want a peek at the navigation that we are proposing to the Board on Thursday, please take a look at the top and left side of http://www.fbyc.net/kristen/Club. Notice how the links to Club and Fleet change as you click from one to the other. The idea is to show the users the links in an easier and clearer fashion. A few of you with higher level permissions will be able to see the proposed left side menus at http://www.fbyc.net/SiteMap3.

Lasers have now been moved to http://www.fbyc.net/Fleets/Laser. I know the links do not all work correctly, but please let me know if you have any comments on the suggestion.

P.S. There are no changes being made to anything related to events.

P.P.S. If the Board agrees to make these changes, I should get them all implemented with a week or so. And then I will need to find and fix broken links throughout the site.
