FBYC Race Committee Training Session

Race Committee Training is not just for the Race Chair (PRO) but all members of the RC. So if you are interested or if you've already volunteered to help on a Race Committee (PRO or crew), please come to this informative, user -friendly session. No experience is needed, just interest.
Some of the topics to be discussed:-
· Learn about the new rules that effect the RC
· Each RC position and responsibilities
· How to do each RC job Signal boat, Mark boat, etc.
· Working as a team for Organization, Start, Finish, and Scoring
· RC checklists
· Where to set up a race course (Local knowledge)
· RC boats operation
Each participant will be given a copy of the FBYC Race Committee Manual and US Sailings Join the Race Committee Team. Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. No fees.

From 64 West and 95 SouthExit 80 off 95 North (1st exit after merger of 64 West)
Bear right on the Westbrook Ave. and turn Left on to Hermitage Road at the Light
School with be on the Left make first U-turn (Princeton Rd)
Turn in second gate 4211 Hermitage Rd bear left to Activity Center Building
From 95 North
Exit 82 Chamberlayne Ave
Turn Right on Westbrook Ave (1st right after Azalea Ave.)
Westbrook Ave. to Hermitage Rd. then turn Left and follow above)
