onFBYC was well represented in 2 fleets last weekend at the Annapolis NOOD. Dan & Gannon Troutman on Pied Piper and Latane Montague on Full Monty both sailed in the J/70 Fleet while Bob & Lisa Fleck on Horizon and Paul & Julie Anne Wash sailed S2 7.0 fleet.
While there were plenty of boats - there wasn't a lot of wind. Friday turned out to be the best day for both fleets. The J/70s had some solid breeze Friday and got in 3 races - it seemed the locals in the 57-boat fleet were some of the ones leading the fleet.

It was a different story Friday for the S2 7.9 fleet where Horizon and Cheeky Monkey topped the leaderboard after some serious downwind gybing battles and very close finishes.
Saturday turned out to be a total loss - races were started that never finished and all of the boats were in early for maintenance and hitting the party tent a bit early.
Sunday started with a postponement - but eventually got enough wind to get one more race off for the 70s. Said Latane Montague after the regatta "The highlight for me was getting the chance to race against Terry Hutchinson, who I had not sailed against since college" Terry would go on to win the regatta in the J/70 fleet. Pied Piper was the best finisher of the FBYC bunch finishing 22nd.
There were mixed results on Sunday for the 2 FBYC S2 7.9s. Horizon continued their dominance of the fleet going 1-2 and win he event while Cheeky Monkey struggled after a late night of trailer repair and some difficult conditions and fell to 3rd overall.
